Whether it is his patronising tone towards China, his shameless threats against a contented DPRK or now his direct threat against Russia and Syria, Donald Trump thinks that he and his colleagues can get away with grotesque threats against nations that have not harmed the United States or its people. The difference between the DPRK’s survival and the destruction of Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya and parts of Syria has been that the DPRK threatens to strike back and to do so with nuclear weapons, while the other countries on this list did not and could not do so. Because of the clear stance and military readiness of the DPRK, Americans are not killing Koreans and Koreans are not killing Americans.
Russia, a country far larger than the DPRK should adopt a similar approach and should do so in the following way. The DPRK’s treats of nuclear retaliation are always issued as a public response to the threats made from the United States. Thus, when Donald Trump threatened to “destroy” the DPRK while speaking before the United Nations, the DPRK’s Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho said the following:
“Since Trump uttered such reckless and violent words provoking the supreme dignity of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) at this very platform, I think it is fair enough for me to make a response in the corresponding tone.
During his 8 months in power, he has turned the White House into a noisy marketing place full of crackling sounds of abacus beads and now he has tried to turn the UN arena into a gangsters’ nest where money is respected and bloodshed is the order of the day.
The absurd reality that the person like Trump, a mentally deranged person full of megalomania and complacency, the person who is chastised even by American people as “Commander in Grief, “Lyin King”, “President Evil” is holding the seat of the U.S. President, and the dangerous reality that the gambler who grew old using threats, frauds and all other schemes to acquire a patch of land holds the nuclear button; these are what constitute the gravest threat to the international peace and security today.
Due to his lacking of basic common knowledge and proper sentiment, he tried to insult the supreme dignity of my country by referring it to a rocket. By doing so, however, he committed an irreversible mistake of making our rockets’ visit to the entire U.S. mainland inevitable all the more.
None other than Trump himself is on a suicide mission. In case innocent lives oft he U.S. are lost because ofthis suicide attack. Trump will be held totally responsible. The respected supreme leader Comrade Kim Jong Un stated : as a man representing the DPRX and on behalf of the dignity and honour of my state and people and on my own, I will make the man holding the prerogative of the supreme command in the U.S. pay dearly for his speech calling for totally destroying the DPRK. Trump might not have been aware what is uttered from his mouth but we will make sure that he bears consequences far beyond his words, far beyond he scope of what he can handle even if he is ready to do so”.
There is no reason that Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov or President Putin himself cannot make such a statement. If the US still does not believe such a statement, the Russian President himself should phone Donald Trump and make it clear that the threat is incredibly serious. At such a point, it is highly unlikely the US would risk nuclear war and the destruction of its own cities because of a group of Takfiris in a suburb of Damascus that most Americans have never heard of and have no desire to travel to. Indeed during the Cuban Missile Crisis, it was the very real threat of nuclear war that eventually caused John F. Kennedy to make a compromise deal with the Soviet leadership.
Just as South Korea and China are now working for the long term de-escalation of tensions between Pyongyang and Washington, after a proper stand-off between Russia and the US, Turkey is the natural party to mediate in the development a long term mechanism to restrain tensions.
Already, Turkey is attempting to reduce tensions between Russia and the US as was reported in the Turkish media hours ago. The Daily Sabah quotes Vladimir Shamanov, Chairman of the Defense Committee of the State Duma as saying the following:
“A dialogue between the chiefs of staff of the U.S. and Russia has begun. The connection has been made possible through our counterparts in Turkey”.
It has also come to pass that Donald Trump has had a personal phone call with Turkish President Erdogan regarding Syria. Therefore, the chips are all in place for Turkey to help to de-escalate the situation, one that has already been condemned by the Turkish Prime Minister and his Deputy. But in order for peaceful mediation to be more effective, President Putin must make it clear to Donald Trump who is apparently an incredibly violent, foolish and wicked man, that Russia will not allow threats against its men and its ally to go unanswered. In fact, Russia must guarantee an asymmetrical response, as force is the only thing barbarians like Donald Trump are capable of understanding.
Once the message is clear, President Erdogan will actually have an easier job of convincing both sides to immediately de-escalate. After such a time, the next appropriate move will be for the United States Congress to impeach Donald Trump and remove him from office due to his reckless and irresponsible threats against Syria and Russia. If Russia threatened the US with nuclear war, even the intellectually comatose US Congress would realise that the stakes are too high for a mentally deficient savage like Donald Trump to be in charge of anything other than an ageing hotel lobby.
